In addition to being the founder and president of Homestead Mortgage, L.C., Bill is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) and a Certified Divorce Planning Provessional (CDPP); the President of the Virginia Association of Mortgage Brokers; a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and a member of the National Federation of Independent Businesses. Bill is the Founder of the Capital Benefits Program. Bill is also a marketing and networking consultant to Old Dominion Consulting.

Bill is a sought after and well respected speaker who has helped thousands of families maximize their potential and reach their financial goals. He appears nationally as a regular mortgage and finance contributor live on Fox Business Network Television and The Arnette Report on Comcast Cable. He has spoken to financial planners, realtor associations, homeowner's associations and individuals on topics such as credit scoring and counseling, the process of networking, creative marketing strategies, wealth creation, first-time homebuyer education and various other topics. Bill is a lifelong area resident of more than fifty years and has been married to his wife Jaelyn for over twenty years. Bill has two wonderful daughters, Rachael and Michelle, who are both very active athletes. Rachael is a nationally ranked All-American swimmer and Michelle is a great all around athlete participating in at least two year round sports.
