Mortgage Bonds ended higher for the week today despite today's move lower. The 3.5% coupon fell 22bp just below the alltime closing price achieved yesterday. Stocks fell today after the IPO of Facebook disappointed investors closing near the $38 IPO price of $38. The Dow fell 73.11 points to 12,369.38. Oil was last seen at $91.09/barrel down $1.47. Technically Bonds are nicely above the former all-time highs of $104.25 - which now makes that former tough ceiling of resistance a floor of support. And the longer-term uptrend is still clearly intact. We are floating and watching for any early reversal signals, which the Japanese Candlestick Chart is known for identifying. Have a great weekend!
